The rustic charm of the lodge is appealing, and we were welcomed warmly by Caron, who ensured a smooth check-in. While listed as beachfront, be aware that it's a 3-minute walk to the sand, with other properties obstructing the view-a tad misleading. The lodge excels in amenities like free Wi-Fi and a delightful breakfast made from fruit grown right on the property. Rooms were comfortable and impeccably clean, paired with a serene garden area offering a peaceful retreat. There are some potholes on Pennington's roads, so a careful drive is advisable. The lodge is a delightful option for a quiet beach getaway without breaking the bank.
